Angus Brown:
Say hello to Angus Brown, aka ‘Gus,’ our Head of Sales at STH UK, stationed at the lively Richmond office in the heart of London. Having a foot in both Scottish and English camps, when it comes to rugby, his heart beats in tartan hues – he’s all about Scotland, come rain or shine on the rugby field.
When he’s not conquering the sales game, Gus is a sporting maestro in his free time. Golf, rugby, football, tennis, and even ice skating – this guy is a jack-of-all-trades (or so he says). No wonder he fits right into the STH team, where a love for rugby and golf is practically a job requirement!
Now, Gus’ pièce de résistance is selling tickets for the Rugby World Cup France 2023 – it’s like watching Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel, but with rugby. His passion for the sport is infectious, and clients lap it up like it’s the last sip of their favourite whiskey. And speaking of whiskey, Gus is placing his bets on South Africa taking home the World Cup this year. Will his crystal ball prove accurate? Only time will tell.
Now, let’s talk dream dinner parties. Gus would host a shindig with none other than Donald Trump, Nelson Mandela, and Stephen Fry. Why? Because he wants to kick back, ply his guests with drinks and enjoy the show. It’s the kind of dinner party you’d pay good money to witness.
Oscar Lee:
And onto our next sales agent – Oscar Lee, STH’s very own Jack Grealish. From Walton-on-Thames, Oscar bleeds football, especially for his beloved team, Leeds United. But don’t let the football fool you; he’s a sports connoisseur, dabbling in cricket and basketball, making him the Swiss Army knife of our sales team.
With a love for Royal Ascot – it’s his favourite event to sell, so make sure you give him a call if you want all the details. And, as the Rugby World Cup France 2023 approaches, you can bet he’s waving the English flag and crossing his fingers for a triumphant run. Oh, and don’t forget the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup India 2023 – he’s backing the English boys there too.
But let’s talk about experiences. As a team, we like to get in the thick of things, and Oscar’s standout moment? Day 5 of The Ashes at Headingly, Leeds – because, well, everything comes back to Leeds for him.
Now, if you’re ever lucky enough to be at Oscar’s perfect dinner party, you’d find yourself surrounded by the likes of Eddie Hearn, Shane Warne, and, of course, his football hero, Jack Grealish. Talk about a party that’s bound to leave you with stories to tell for years!
