England fight back to draw in Twickenham classic
England stunned the All Blacks by scoring three late tries to snatch a 25-all draw in another superb game at this years’ Autumn internationals. England found themselves 17-6 down in the second half after a fantastic start by New Zealand, showing many of the qualities you’d expect from one of the world’s greatest sides. However, the All Blacks could not sustain their performance as England showed tremendous heart to fight back. It was a thrilling final eight minutes to mark captain Owen Farrell’s century of England caps in front of a much relieved and exuberant Twickenham crowd. This match was the first meeting between the sides since England’s famous semi-final victory at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. Wales were less successful in their weekend’s fixture as they suffered a shock defeat to Georgia. The Georgians scored a late penalty to win one of their most famous victories away in Cardiff. Welsh rugby fans will now be dreading their final Autumn international match against Australia.
