An injury stricken Welsh side are the underdogs going into the match, with Ireland putting out 13 of their players who clinched the exhilarating 29-20 victory against the All Blacks in Dublin last year. Wales have not opened their Six Nations campaign without Alun Wyn Jones or Ken Owens for some 16 years, both who are ruled out this weekend with injury. That said, Wales have some exciting players on the pitch, with fan favourite Dan Bigger captaining the side, facing his British and Irish Lions team mate, Ireland captain Jonny Sexton – in a match-up that could prove for some exciting viewing.
